Advanced Technology- Certain things that a civilization is exceptionally good at.
Chinampa- A floating garden used for farming.
Civilization- A community with advanced technologies, farming, food surplus, job specialization, monumental architecture, social classes and a writing system.
Conquest- The act of conquering another civilization.
Farming- The act of growing food.
Food Surplus- Where a civilization has more food then they need from day to day.
Job Specialization- Jobs other than farming.
Monumental Architecture- The design and construction of large buildings.
Nahuatl- The Aztec language.
Sacrificial- Something that is involved with sacrifices.
Social Classes- The ranking of people in a civilization by their importance.
Tlaloc- The Aztec god of rain, fertility and water.
Writing System- A non verbal form of communication usually consisting of symbols.
Quetzalcoatl- A feathered serpent god worshiped by the Aztec.
